The range of decoders available goes from  the basic decoder to the highest performing decoders incorporating the advanced VIP Media middleware for the DVB networks, from cable and TV on IP in the MPEG2 SD, MPEG4 SD and MPEG4 HD formats. To ensure the smooth transition between the formats MPEG2 and MPEG4, the conditional access solution, VIP Control, has been included in the decoders that simultaneously support both formats.
