ENIGMA VIP-Boxshield™

 

The VIP-Boxshield® is Enigma's core product.

 

This innovative mechanism allows protection of any digital content, by creating a tight interaction between the data stream to be protected and the application which processes this stream. In this way, the  VIP-Box-shield® permits the stream to become active versus passive, for both the end application as well as the systems currently available on the market.  


This software technology - indepen-dent of the transmission media (IP, cable, satellite, mobile phone) - applies to any digital reception plat-forms (set top boxes, PC, mobile phones, MP3 players, PDAs, etc.).
 

ENIGMA VIP-Smartcard™

 

The VIP-Smartcard® is a virtual smart card that can be used to manage secure subscribers’ access to any digital content.

This highly innovative software product, based on the VIP-Box-shield®, replaces legacy hardware security devices for which security renewal is a highly difficult issue to address.


This hardware-free smartcard can, for example, guarantee permanent inte-grity and rights protection in  PayTV set top boxes environments.

ENIGMA VIP-Control™

 

Based on the VIP-Smartcard® product, the VIP-Control® is an end to end digital content protection so-lution for broadcasters (IP, DVB S/C/T, ...) .

 

This device-less content protection system  offers high content protection performance without the inherent disadvantages of hardware based systems such as security renewal .

 

Furthermore, this technology is  at the current time, the first software based content protection system which works as well with return channel equipments as in pure broadcasting environments.
